This is the same Westside that won nothing in 2002, 2 in 2003, and 5 in 2004. Congrats to the Lady Rams in their improvements.

I heard that the Dutch Fork vs Swansea match was canceled. Anyone know why??

Chapin 0

There is a big difference in 4a and 3a. SV had 24 players for the game. Chapin had 13 players with 0 keepers. My daughter was the starting keeper for Chapin so you know things are bad.

I was impressed by both the defenses and the mid-field play.

I was impressed by the Chapin players a lot of individual improvement over last year. I didn't not see any bad weaknesses on the team, except in goal. And they didn't seem to lose a lot of steam towards the end of the last 20 played. We will gain some quality players after basketball, which will fill out the team a lot.

3-0 to a good 4-A team all the while missing a true keeper-sounds like a positive experience to me. Basketball always changes things so good luck to you then.

I was supposed to ref the Dutch Fork v. Swansea match, but got a call from the DF coach saying it was cancelled. I did talk to one of the DF players and she said that DF may have a rules violation. Anybody got any info?

Must be bad for them to start cancelling games and pull out of the Taco Bell Tournament.
