I know that some of them simply ask. For instance, if you see an opening, email Kyle and you can be an "At-Large" coach.

The assigned positions at the meetings are for the region champion coaches from the prior year. And if they can't come then there may be an opening. So if there are really "At-large" seats there, why didn't you take one?

d*mn, i know this was just your opinion and all, but you couldnt have been more wrong. irmo swamped wando 3-0 and lex. lost in a close OT battle. i'd be interested to see your predictions in the championship match..

Gee whiz, I was really off base on that one. Even at $3 a gallon and 8mpg in the bus the money was well spent.

I watched Irmo play JI and saw Dorman play last night. Dorman played the best fundamental soccer and moved the ball the best of any team I've seen this year. Irmo showed solid play and great speed down the sides with really pretty finishes. Dorman didn't finish well, though, with the exception of the OT header that was pretty (but more than a bit of a gift from the center ref). I'll take aggressive forward play over technical soccer: Irmo 2 v Dorman 1 in OT.
