SSC U14 boys finished first in the premier league, so they would have been seeded #1, ahead of St. Giles and MPSC.

Anyone know scores from the games today... Here is what I know... SGU Wizzmo lost to LCGSC Power in PK's, GFC U12 Girls won 2-0 over CGSA Lightning, GFC U13 Girls won 2-0 over Aiken Dynamites, GFC U12 Boys won over SSC Explosion in PK's, GFC U14 Girls lost to Spartanburg in PK's. Any new ones that you have information on would be great!

The Wizzmo were the defending state champs in U12. The Power had not won a game all season, but knocked em off 3-2 in penalties. Pretty damn good.

---from what i heard about the wizzmo game..the wizzmo had a good game..they moved the ball very well..but were a little unlucky on finishing..the other team packed it into the back..i believe it was 36 shots to 1 in wizzmos favor...wizzmo-im sorry thats the way things worked out..but you are a great team.and if u keep up the hard training..u will have very great rewards for that work.it was just a little unlucky.it happens to the best of us.

---dont gemme wrong..congrats to the team that beat them.im not trying to take away ur glory on beating them.

This is why I think SC should consider using another format (group play spread out over 2 weekends, resulting in the semis and finals on the 3rd weekend, similar to the formats other states like NC and GA use?)to determine who makes it to the semis and finals of state cup.The current format does not give SC its best chance at sending its best teams through. It is not ,in my opinion, the best way for SC to determine its state champion who, at u14 and above, will represent the state at regionals. Great for the underdog but sort of a raw deal for clearly stronger teams who have one bad day of finishing.
