Has CSC decided to add PREMIER to their top team's names?

Not sure... that's for Eddie Crosby to decide. I was just posting PREMIER to remind those in the greater Columbia area that some players have an opportunity to play at a higher level.

According to the tryout materials, yes.

My guess is that he is saying PREMIER because, as newly crowned champions in the U13 (now U14) age bracket, they are now eligible to join the Premier League vs. actually calling the team “Burn '91 Navy PREMIER” like CESA has the “CESA 90 Boys Challenge” and the “CESA 90 Boys Premier” teams (just an example). Please correct me if I am wrong.

I don't think that is it. If you click on Chico's post you'll see that have restructured how they name their teams.

Belligerent... how can you be belligerent if you say, "Please correct me if I am wrong."??? That is a polite thing to say. You are in fact correct with your post.
Chico's post refers to the web site that was done before the team was crowned champions. Had the team not won this past weekend I believe it would have still said U13 - 14Premier. Maybe somebody from the CSC U15 or U17 teams that were Premier this past year could tell us if they were called CSC Burn 'XX Premier or not.

I believe last year the CSC teams were differentiated by color. The "A" team was called Navy and the "B" team White. Example the U17 A team was called CSC Burn 87 Navy. Some Navy teams were Premier and some were Challenge.

I just can’t help it – my Mama raised me to be a Southern Gentleman (sideliner, hold your tongue). But, sometime during the hazy (or, is that hazing?) days of college, I developed a somewhat dark side (but Mama does not need to know about this – I am still her sweet baby - in her mind, at least). I usually only get belligerent around people with closed minds...or, after a few beers (whichever comes first). Of course, sometimes I’m just in a bad mood, and need to let off a little steam...and then, there a certain people who just manage to draw it out of me.

Luckily, they keep me locked up 23 hours a day – the other one hour I’m still in a fenced area with razor wire. It’ll be another story, though, in 7 years, 43 days, 2 hours and 8 minutes...no, make that 7 minutes...no, wait...6 now...

Looks like Columbia Soccer Club is getting better. How about changing their stupid "burn" name! Something like Columbia Futbol Club.
