The "stick" was referring to one of my favorite candies growing up. Not sure if it is spelled correctly, but it seemed to be an opportune time to throw that in there.
I think the league overall has been more competitive this year, and there are more teams at the top of the table than was the case last year - if I recall correctly. Almost doesn't really count chico - I can't believe someone of your intelligence actually used that result to try and support CSC's status. They have very little chance to make it to the finals in that age group. I think Bridge and CESA have that final in their sights. But, I have been wrong before - like when I picked the koalas to beat CESA a couple of weeks ago only to find out that their bark was more than their bite.
