However, I was trying to use some type of statistic that most people were aware of as it has been publicized on this board the names/clubs of the players who were selected for region pool/team. My point was not to compare cesa and other clubs in terms of odp participation/success. To be more clear, my point was that most people attribute cesa's success to having superior talent to that of the other clubs. I was disagreeing with this. As I stated, the talent pool is certainly larger, but I recognize that there are numerous quality players from around the state who are not a part of that club.
Since you brought up odp, I will take issue with your point. For the most part, the odp teams do consist of the best players from our state. Sure, there are a few very good players in some age groups who choose not to participate in the program. But, again, by and large the best players are out there.
