It has Happened!! Finally, after all our spirited discussions about club ball and your constant drunken tirades berating me for my belief in the Cola. area merger.........We (me and you) finally agree on a topic........that is that SC ODP is not what it purports to be. Super Y has a much better system of selecting their ODP teams. Even though my child has never tried out, I have attended SCODP tryouts, practices and games and is it most evident that SCODP is not comprised of all the best players in the state. To be sure, there are some top players, but not the majority. You must first have some ability, then cash, then some political inside, then maybe have a son or two of the coaches, then be willing to split time with many mediocre players. It is too costly for what you get out of it, and in most instances does not further your college profile.
