The ODP topic is a sensitive issue and probably deserves to be another thread. That being said, let me get my two cents worth. Overall, like a few have said, ODP does not contain the best players in the state. A few are, but not the majority. ODP seems to more be used for a way for kids to get exposure when they are not on a R3PL team or a state champion. In many peoples eyes, ODP exposure does not hold the weight of a championship team nor a R3PL team, therefore, in my view that is why many of the CESA kids are not on it. The added time and cost of ODP become less valuable when the player is on a better team with more exposure.
