There is no comparison between the Super Y ODP and ODP selection processes. Just examine for yourself the differences in the respective processes. As an example, Super Y has season scouts assigned for the entire season, whereas ODP bases a players' abilities on tryouts. It is just a more extensive process.
SCODP purports to have the best of the best, and that is simply not a valid statement. I can agree that there are some excellent players on SCODP, Cates, for example. Yet, why do you think that all of the best of the best players choose not to participate?
