I hear what you are saying, but I have never ever ever seen a "scout" at a Y League game. THis is what I have seen at Y League games: Teams that are scrambling for players. Players that are not rostered playing under false ID's. 9 and 10 aside games.
This has been my experience. What is yours? I'm not asking what the goal of Y League is supposed to be but what the reality of it is.
