What about Bridge? Their 15s were in the finals of two U16 tournaments. Most of the kids were on last years US Club Soccer Natl Champs! That team has got to be the favorites!

I wouldn't count out the MPSC U16G team, which lost only 1-0 in the finals last year.
I also wouldn't count out the CSC U17G team (challenge league winners) and the NECSA U17G team (which lost in the semifinals in overtime last year).

Bridge U15 Boys is very capable of winning state, but if you want to go with a favorite then you have to go with DSC or CESA. They have proven themselves against R3PL competition and and have finished high in the group. It's hard not to call either one of those two teams a favorite. That being said, favorites don't win soccer games. Well prepared and well coached teams with good talent do.

You've been around long enough to realize that anybody can beat anybody on any given day in this sport, especially when the stakes are so high.
But come on, the U-17G is a stone cold lock. I like that you are recognizing the abilities of CSC and NECSA (and striker2004 could only imagine how good this team could be if it were combined into "Cola United") but nobody, NOBODY, stops the Big Red Machine!

Hurst66: I think that U17G is probably the most competitive age group in either gender [excluding U15B], and I really do believe that the CSC U17G and NECSA U17G teams can't be counted out -- they're wonderful teams.

I know they are wonderful teams, they've both had a great season.
But the CESA U-17G are rivaling the Mt. Pleasant Ice as the greatest group of ladies ever assembled in South Carolina.

Not being sarcastic. I've seen this team play and they are very, very good. I think Chico was "playing possum" by building up the other teams.
By the way.....looks like you won't have the Koalas to kick around much longer. ;>)
