After watching the Bridge 92 Gold team this weekend I believe that CESA Premier will when the state cup. I watched several of their games including the one with NECSA. (Bridge 2-NECSA 0)I believe the CESA Premier team is bigger and more physical then Bridge. I believe Bridge will where down over the season. I know Bridge was in the final and probably won the tournament but I was not overly impressed with their abilities. They play very good team ball but can be overpowered in several positions.

Bridge 92 boys did win the tournament, you missed a great game. It was impressive to see how well the boys played with only a half hour rest between games.
I agree that CESA Premier is bigger, but that can also work in their (Bridge) favor. Why do you think that the Bridge will wear down over the season? I think they are just getting started.

Big Teddy you are wrong! Deal with it. It is a branch of CASAL in NC. It is the same thing as if CASL opened in Cola. The CEO of VA CASL said there is a relationship. Swallow hard and deal with it.

Gosh go feed tina!!

One question for KS - Have you ever considered using a dictionary, thesaurus, or spell check?

Soccaho.....Maybe wear down wasn't the correct terminology. I guess I was comparing it to the size of CESA. The bridge is an excellent possession team that uses their finesse to score goals. I felt that physically they can be out played by the right team. They are to be congradulated on winning the tournament. They took care of business. I wasn't overlly impressed with any of the other teams in the tournament. NECSA played OK but the kids were tired from the beginning as many of them had late Friday night JV games. The weak links in the NECSA team can be exploited when the top players are tired. Not an excuse as all of the teams were probably tired. All of the teams played hard and the best team definetly won.In addition, I felt the referee's did a very good job as the calls were consistent throughout the tournament games I witnessed.

No . But it gives me great pleasure to know you took time to get a screen name to ask me that question with your first post.

Keyser,

Not a question of getting over it......I think you are missing my point relative to the merger.

Lets assume there is in fact a relationship between CASL NC and VA CASL. With the announced merger between Richmond Strikers and VA CASL, what does this mean for "the relationship"?

Is this a defacto merger between CASL NC and Richmond Strikers? Is CASL NC "giving up" their VA Club? Is there a relationship......between CASL NC and the new merged CLub in VA?

What if.......a SC Club merged with an out of state Club. What if a major SC CLub formed a joint venture with another major Club, out of state, in order to compete at the highest level?

What would stop Greensboro and CESA from doing this? Concorde Fire and CESA? Bridge and Atlanta Silverbacks?

Just curious if this represents the next level of megaclub merger mania....

Soccer For Fun,

You have been very quiet since your prediction that Mt. Pleasant will win State Cup. After a tie and at least three losses, are you still confident of this feat?

Coming up...game of the week....Lexington vs CESA 92 Premier.

Any comments on this one anybody?

Just for you,
CESA 92 Pr is very good, probably will win it all.
Bridge 92 Gold is good but inconsistent, don't know which team is going to show up week in/out, overrated.
Tega Cay has one very good player.
Mt Pleasant could be good if 'all' the players could show up at a game (practices), too much inconsitency.

I know CESA's practicing 4-5 days a week, mp 2-3 days, don't know about Bridge or TC. Overall, outside of CESA, teams just don't have the depth in talent or maturity/commitment. Cudos to CESA!
