So, you think we CESA/CRSA calls it an alliance rather than a partnership, that it should go through?

Can it not be appealed to USYSA?

I just checked the CESA and CRSA web sites, neither has removed the information about their "partnership". I wonder if they both plan to leave SCYSA and play US Club Soccer? Or maybe they are just thumbing their nose at "the man". Or maybe they haven't officially recieved their marching orders.

I also was wondering why it hasn't been removed from the websites. I just don't know. Chico, any idea?

I am just assuming that there is no appeal in the wording of the conclusion. Perhaps there is one at the national level. Does anyone know?

Scotland...no, I'm just wondering what the difference is. I just think that what the ruling says about not recognizing a "partnership" could easily be read as not recognizing an "alliance" as well. I just don't see the difference...even if the "alliance" is occuring in the same district.

Chico, you are right about the sweeping language of the decree. However, the right to be present at one's trial is just about universal in the Western World, so I had assumed that the order would only apply to the parties to the proceedings. But, I am learning that SCYSA works differently ...

greenacres/scotland: I just checked the CESA web site after you raised the issue and the CESA/CRSA partnership announcement appears to be deleted -- I'm sure it was just done recently.

You're right about the CESA website - the posting has been deleted in the last hour or so. However, the CRSA website still has the partnetship story posted.
Do you know if there is an appeal possible?

I honestly don't know. The language in the announcement seems to indicate that no appeal is possible, but from memory I thought that there was both an appeals and a grievance process through the USSF.

Here's the issue: I'm not sure why the USSF would care. The USYSA would probably care -- if I were running it I'd see this as a suicide by one of my state affilates that hurts me. But the USSF is the parent of both USYSA and USCS -- and I would wonder if they would just figure "what the heck -- if USYSA wants to kill themselves there's always USCS, AYSO, and SAY."
