I will put the facts as I know them and you guys can correct

Carolina Elite Soccer Academy (CESA) announced that they will establish a program in the Columbia area beginning in the spring of 2006. 2- Mr Crosby has a fall-out of sorts...details not known but lets just say that he was attempting to start the program... I do not recall the discussion being over under priviliged underserved youth
3- CESA is unexpectedly caught in an unwanted situation and retracted the announcement above.
4- CESA enters agreement to support CRSA in providing underserved underpriviliged youth opportunity (I cannot find the announcement)
5 - CRSA proudly proclaims that the arrangement will provide fields for the CESA coaching staff to perform the miracle.
As you can see I am a little skeptical.
Why the turn around from the first announcement?
CESA has players coming not only from the midlands but from the coast and obviously driving to the upstate is out of the question.
Therefore they need to train in the midlands.
If the idea is to provide underserved underpriviliged youth opportunity, why not just provide the coaching needs to CRSA free of an exclusive partnership....marketing wise it would have been just as good. The problem is that they could not do the training they really want.
The truth is only known by a small number of people.
I firmly believe that CESA is able to attract the backing and sponsorship opportunities because of the elite status they exude, same with CASL and Silverbacks, etc.. nothing wrong with this but it was achieved on the elite teams not on the REC, or underpriviliged work.
So what does CESA really want and why is it so necessary to expand into the Cola raea?
This I believe is the underlying problem and the reason for the skepticism shown.
I for one feel that an elite club is necessary for Cola....CESA , CUFC... or whatever name I do not care.
