Yes...another Club will work nicely.
Its really what York County needs.....another Club. Discoveries, Northside/CSC Southwest, Tega Cay, Steele Creek just across the border, not to mention all the Charlotte Clubs aren't enough. Lets start another 5 team Club. Plenty of fields, plenty of quality players, coaches.
CESA and Bridge better watch out....

I should have said 1 "great" team. DSC Mutiny is great. Enzo Martinez, Alex Martinez, Robbie Benson,.... they are stacked. They have been one of the top 10 teams in the south for the past couple of years. Yes, they are great.
As for "doing well", I think they aren't doing bad considering their position. They have always been a solid club and a full time DOC will only make them better.

I agreee with Import and Big Daddy's ideas combined. I think i would be a good idea for a big investor to come in and buy up all the clubs in the York County area and form one club. All of the clubs in the area have their bits and peices of good. But if they would come together they really would have a great chance of being a dominate club in SC in my opinion....
So if you know a soccer fan with alot of money i would suggest that idea to them this could really pay off, expecially with the opening of the super nice complex in Rock Hill.
I think everyone would agree there is plenty of talent in York County, they just need to come together in one club.

Look at how well the Northwestern boys do...FM boys and girls.....Clover is absolutely on the upswing with JV girls. There is lots of talent here to be mined.....if everyone pulls together.
The addition of Manchester plus better developed rec programs.....makes today totally different from say, 5 years ago.
Hopefully those involved on all sides will put the kids interests first and do the right thing. Folks should quit looking to the past, quit blaming people, and start looking to build bridges.

Soccer park grand opening
Manchester Meadows, the 70-acre soccer park off Dave Lyle Boulevard, will have a grand opening next month, according to the City of Rock Hill.The June 11 event is scheduled to last from 3 to 6 p.m. The public is invited to participate in soccer demonstrations, self-guided tours and a scavenger hunt. Live music will be played.
Manchester Meadows was financed in part by the city's 2-cent "restaurant tax" on prepared meals. The park features six lighted regulation soccer fields and two championship fields with lights and scoreboards. The park can accommodate 1,500 spectators and includes a pond, playground area and walking and bike trails.
If there is rain June 11, the event will be moved to June 13 at 5 p.m.

lets put it this way. if DSC broke up. and some of the DSC 90 players (enzo alex roby...) came to cesa 90 premier that team i think would be a top 5 team in the nation and be the best team in the region
