>>[Soccer for Fun] Scheduling travel for games where the distance is greater than an hour (would almost require the state to be divided into 2 divisions like NC [east-west]).<<

I guess that NC would have to be divided into a lot more districts, huh?

>>[futbol(soccer)] Chico.... Sounds alot like US Club Soccer...HMMMM!<<

I'm aware that USCS had larger roster sizes and more flexibility, but I wasn't aware that they had taken the enormous step of registering players to clubs and not teams. Is this true? I actually thought this recommendation should be adopted by USYSA and its state organizations and USCS.

I know that there are at least a few others. They've chosen to keep their identity hidden.

Chico... you are registered to the club and can play your age or up as determined by the club.

"PLAYER DATABASE
The club has access to its player database at all times. Player address and other information can be updated. A complete database can be downloaded into Excel to produce club-wide emails, mailing labels, etc.
Most importantly, you are free to move players from within one club team to another team at or above their age group at any time. The registrar or coach controls all this on the clubs website. No other permissions of any kind are required."

Basically you can move players within the club and print out rosters as needed.

There is a piece in US Club Soccer called "open players" You may move all your club players to this list and pull them into whatever teams are created. So yes you can control your club vs. teams.
