Celtic today, had the opportunity to become the only team in European History to come back from a five goal deficit. The bhoys lost earlier this week in a shock 5-0 defeat against Armetia Bratislava. But sadly, after a hard fought, and very well played game today, Celtic is eliminated on an agraggate of 4-5.

Oh well. There's always next year.

CELTIC ARE A GREAT CLUB WITH A GREAT TRADITION AND DID INDEED ALMOST MAKE HISTORY, BUT TO LOOSE 5-0 TO ARMETIA WAS UNEXCUSABLE. THEY NEEDED A 90TH MINUTE GOAL SATURDAY TO DRAW AT MOTHERWELL.
HOPEFULLY THEIR DEFENSIVE ISSUES HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED. IT IS OFF TO THE UEFA CUP NOW.

yes the loss was unexcusable to lose that much to lose to a team like that, but it was still a great rebound.

Hopefully the issues on defense have been solved. They looked very good against Dundee Utd., and Shunsuke Nakamura was a genious!

The issue is defense. Now with Nakamura in with a spectacular debut Celtic can look forward to better days. While I was visiting family in my home town of Krakow, Poland, Polish international forward Maciej Zurawski transfered to Celtic from Wisla Krakow. Since then he has not had a brilliant beginning but drew a penalty I believe in the second leg against Artemedia. Another Polish international, goalie Artur Boruc, also joined Celtic and has not let in a goal in his debuts.

Ya, both polish internationals mentioned, are excellent, top-notch players. Hopefully they will have a big impact on the club in the future.

yea i think the defense is definaletly playing better now.

Maybe, we'll just have to wait and see. With Dianbobo Balde in talks with Marsielle, Celtic may lose an excellent defenseman. However, I don't think that we will see any more blunders of that magnitude any time soon.

i certainly hope not.
