Sprivg Valley is all juniors this year, although they graduated some huge seniors (Paddy Flynn, Patrick Clements, and Kevin Simpson) they should still be alright. They have added to their roster this year Michael Czulinski (formerly of Ridge View, and plays on the Lexington U-17 state Champ Team, as well as ODP) who can easily replace Paddy. They still have Davis in the goal, and Zack Houghton who shut down Enzo last year in the State Championship, but who could easliy move to any position on the field if need be. The key to a succesful season for SV is going to be keeping Seany Flynn and Parker Arnold out of trouble, academcally, legally, and on the soccer field.

From my understanding, Lexington is mostly Seniors this year, but most of those seniors were all starters as Juniors last year. Jess Mackie(sp?) is a beast, and they have another kid Paul Fisher who could make a huge impact this year.

In my eyes those are two teams to look out for.

The two teams i wonder about are Fort Mill and BC.

Fort Mill really did not impress me last year, and apparently they graduated all their key players from last year.

I've played against and with many BC players in recent years, and BC doesn't impres me either. They have a few little stocky mexicans that are extremely fast and have a decent shot if you give them time to tee it up. They have one tall black dude that will probably play in the midfield. I know they were very successful last year, especially as the season progressed. But who did they graduate? Are they rebuilding this year as it seems many teams across the state are with having either a new coach , or a new group of players?

Agoraphobia, I'd be careful looking past Pinewood. Although, in this particular tournament, they won't be at full strength due to B'ball and other commitments.

Trust me, i was not looking past Pinewood. I know several players that play for Ben Lippen, and according to them PP is not losing anyone. The teams i commented on are those that seem to get left out of the picture, and some of those that are constantly over rated. I think its pretty much a sure bet for PP to take a repeat of the SCISA state title
