so how do you leave wando and greenville out of this discussion

I know nothing of either of these two teams. im more familiar with teams around the midlands, or teams I saw play last year, or have talked about with several friends of mine

I know many players on DF, Irmo, Ben Lippen, Ridge View, Blythewood, Chapin, Dreher AC Flora, White Knoll, and can give an honest opinion about those teams.

As for Wando, the only player I know of is Lundy Jr. (and this guy I worked with who apparently played keeper at Wando in the Early-Mid 70's)

It has to do with the tournament format. Unless it's changed, the format is total points based upon the results of group games. That said, based on everything I've heard about Lexington, and the historically good teams at Greenville and Wando, I'm thinking it's highly possible for those 3 to swap results in such a way that a 3 game winner from Group A meets a 3 game winner from Group C for the championship.

I think it might be difficult for on team in group B to get all three wins but if that was to happen that should be the team to win it all. Wando i know has a strong team this year and im not so sure about greenville and lexington except that they both have strong senior classes

Who does Lexington have in goal this year? Also how did Callison(sp?) do during the club season? They had trouble finishing last year.

The team will not be selected until later. As far as Callison, he led the SCSCL league in scoring - 14G, he also scored in the semis and the winning goal in the state championship. Of course not all teams maintained the stats but of the 4 top teams he led the league in goals.

The Club team was balanced in the scoring area as Cates scored 8 and Czulinski (who took turns up front) scored 9.

Should be in interesting tournament with all SC teams ranked. Two of the top three teams in 4A, a top three team in 3A, and the number one teams from 2A and SCISA.

4A - #2 Wando, #3 Lexington, #7 Spring Valley, #10 Summerville, #11 Fort Mill, #15 James Island, South Pointe

3A - #2 Greenville, #10 Brookland-Cayce, #11 Bluffton

2A - #1 Bishop England

SCISA - #1 Pinewood Prep

The following are changes in the schedule for Group C of the Carolina Classic

Group C
9:00 am – Summerville vs. South Pointe
10:30 am – Bishop England vs. Brookland-Cayce
2:30 pm – South Pointe vs. Bishop England
4:00 pm – Brookland-Cayce vs. Summerville

I wish Lexington and Wando were not in the same bracket.
They look like the two best teams in the tournament.
