Wow... I've been reading these boards for quite some time and I have to say that I don't recall someone slamming another club like this poster has. As a parent whose child used to play for Charleston United, but now plays for another other club, I am offended by the post. That club has offered teams for many families throughout the years and has trained a ton of great players. Many players from that club have gone on to very successful high school careers, college careers and even to regional club play. Alot of current bridge and MPSC players started off at Charleston United and have the skills they need to play on those competitive teams. They have a great skill level thanks to the commitment that Charleston United has to develop great young players. Chas United's DOC has made a huge commitment to the community and the only thing the club lacks is fields. If they had fields, I know many families who would love to have their kids in this club. If you feel that Chas United is at a disadvantage due to the field situation, then I have to agree. But I see no need to slam the club as a whole. The comparison that was made is mean spirited and has no place when discussing how to make soccer better for our kids and our community.
