I don't think fields are the reason that kids are leaving either. They always seem to have or find a place to practice. Your comment about if CUSC had there own fields all these families would coming running back is ludicrous.

Wow... first you attack a club, and then my post. I'm not on a band wagon... just don't like negative comments about the club. My child switched clubs, very reluctantly, to play on a more competitive team. Sometimes, kids can't find the right fit at MPSC, CUSC, SSC or BFA. I've heard of kids leaving other clubs, also very reluctantly, to find a team for their level. Leaving a club does not always mean a family thinks the club isn't "worthy" or doesn't mean they are choosing a "steak" over a "hamburger". It just means that they are looking for the right fit for a child.
My comment about fields was made because the club has a hard time fund raising due to lack of fields, and there is tremendous pressure on the club members, board members, and coaches to keep the club going. I have nothing bad to say about the other clubs in the area. My response to you was not a slam on any club, but was support for CUSC. In my book, my response was open-minded.... your "steak vs. hamburger" comment was far from it.
Just wanted to make myself clear and I won't distract from the issues that have been posted here by commenting any further. I think most everyone agrees that the growth of youth soccer in the area and in SC is exciting, and club bashing does nothing to promote the sport.
