I heard RNE was in the Sandhills Classic this past weekend, if so how did they do?

we beat blythewood 5-0
lost to cardinal newman 2-1
and lost to Ridgeview 3-2
we were tired in the RV game
played 5 games in the last 4 days
by sat we were tired and had a short bench

i don't think your bench was any shorter than rv's? they have 16 on the roster, 2 were away, one with family problems, and one with odp tournament in jville, two was injured that leaves them 12 players.... thats 1 sub, which by the way was their third string keeper....so don't give me that crap about being tired, and having a short bench... when its time to play, real players find a way to play

cuz i saw that they had 3 players on the bench
we only had 2
plus they had omly played 2games which was against blythewood jv and south aiken
we had played against chapin tuesday, b-l thursday, blythewood friday, then cardinal newman sat., plus we had 2 of our defenders injured and our best midfielder got injured
but its alright we play them 3/13/07

I wouldn't judge anyone's success or failure based on the pre-season. Look at the Colts this past year. They lost 3 of the 4 pre-season games and won the super bowl. Plus, some teams don't make final roster cuts till after the scrimmages are over. Coach lets people play to see what they are made of and how they can contribute. Scrimmages are just that...scrimmages. And unless one knows all factors that enter into a match, a sound judgement would be impossible to make.

That is very good point, preseason is just where teams work the kinks out. I was at the RNE and RV game. It looked to me that RNE actually put a pretty decent team together, that is compared to past teams. Ridge View seemed to play poorly the first half while picking up the slack the second half. RNE really beat themselves in this game by arguing with each other and the refs. RNE had several opportunities to win or atleast tie the game towards the end of the second half. However, the Ridge View keeper made atleast one rather decent save that would have been a forsure goal. This same matchup later in the season could be another close game.

I was at the game as well, RNE looked weak and rundown, and what realmen or whatever his name is said is false RNE capitalized on break downs in RV's defense, but the opportunity was there for RV to put more than 3 goals away, and while RNE did have shots very few were on frame, or within the keepers reach.

that is true we need to stop arguing at each cuz that will not help us win
that was a pretty good save RV golie made then we had a shot with about 4 min. left that bounced of the post
we shoudnt have a chinese before the game
