I will assume this was in response to my post, even though it appears you are responding to Hurst66's post.

So, the problem with pk's is that 5 players on each team alternate kicks? Is it more acceptable that a pk at the end of regulation decide the game? How is that more indicative of the "team"?
Yes, to me, that is more acceptable. I would have to assume that a penalty would not have been called in this situation unless the fouled player was in a goal-scoring position during regular play with the team on the field (presumably defense) allowing that to happen. The resulting PK try would then be indicative of the team's play just like it would be had it occured at any other time during the game.

I notice that some (not all, by any means) Lex supporters are less than humble even when they win. This is not a reflection of their players or even their coaches I'm sure, but when every game that doesn't end in 5 or more goals is coined by "terribly officiated" or "resting starters" or "could have easily been 6 or 7 goals", it gets a bit tiresome.
I will assume that you are not referring to me here, as I can't recall ever posting the above comments after a game. If you would point me to a specific post I have made, I will be happy to respond. I also get tired of the endless "excuse-type" comments. Officials, injuries, substitution patterns (or lack thereof), scores that might-have-been (or should-not-have-been) are all part of any athletic endeavor that I have been party to. I prefer to stick to results and key plays - much more exciting!
As for being humble - if JMCLEMSON is a Dorman fan . . .
Is humble what JM's comments in this thread are?
