Are you guys going to be OK the second time you play BE?....Coming off of a 3-week layoff? That's a long spring break.

The simple answer would be "Who Knows"... Any time a team has a long layoff, anything can happen. I have seen teams find renewed vision and intensity from a long intermission, and other times, they flounder. I personally believe that constant competition at a high level keeps you sharp�..

We will see...

At the club level, Bridge vs. Crush were always very competitive games. I expect BE vs. Waccamaw will be the same.

The Waccamaw girls passed their first test by beating Myrtle Beach 2 - 1... Next step is Bishop England on April 3rd. Waccamaw and the Bishops play again on the 24th...

The April 3rd game will be a game to see.....

How many club players do they have(B.E.) And is this why they have taken the 2A title so many times. Or is it Money, Coaching, "School" recruiting for the purpose of building a better soccer program, and in that I mean they are not bound by any local school zone boundries; Like the rest of us. "Correct me if I am wrong".

I cannot respond with respect to any private school other than St. Thomas Aquinas in Ft. Lauderdale, and other private schools in that area. I can attest to recruiting at that school simply because I was personally recruited and many other of my teammates. What happens at other private Catholic High Schools, Who Knows��

By the way, I did not attend St. Thomas because I was not willing to cut my hair.... It was a poor decision on my part....

I think we would be burying our heads in the sand if we believed that the more successful private school programs did not recruit..

According to the high school league the students at BE are eligible if they live in Charleston County, or Daniel Island of Berkeley County. Charleston County is 919 square miles and has a population of 330,368 people. I wonder how many other AA schools can draw from such a big area and large population?

I almost cut my hair.....happened just the other day.

Almost every, if not all, BE players play club soccer (MPSC Challenge & Premier, Bridge, CUSC). They are very talented, skilled and deep. They have a good mix of seniors, juniors, sophomores and freshmen. They will be a powerhouse for years to come.

Having seen BE and Waccamaw play, I would give the nod to BE due to their depth and talent. Waccamaw was very fortunate to get a win against Academic Magnet last week in a hard fought game. They scored with a minute to go in regulation to send the game to overtime and then scored with 30 seconds left in the second overtime to get the victory. Waccamaw is a good, young team that will be fun to watch develop the next couple of years. Hopefully, they will be able to give BE a good run.
