Socastee looked very strong tonight... MB was recovering most of the game and Justin Watson was dynamic. The goal by Orlando was clearly set up by Watson who beat 3 defenders who collapsed on him and left Clark alone just inside the 18. MB's 2nd goal came late in the game with Socastee's reserve players on the field. Peter Ivey scored the 1st goal for MB off a clear shot from the 18, and I'm not sure who scored the 2nd goal for MB. I'll be honest, I expected the MB offense to more effective. By the way, the officiating in this game was very good. I havent seen this center Ref before, but he did a very good job.

Socastee was very fast up top. They capatilized on some defensive errors by MB. I would have to say that the score was definately closer than it appeared with MB hitting the post several times and having many oppurtunities in and around the 18. Socastee finished their chances and MB did'nt. It will be a great game next time they meet.

yeah count on himmelsbach to have mb ready to go next time these two teams play. its good to hear that socastee doesnt rely just on watson though. i know bobby belair plays for socastee and he may not score but hes pretty dominant in midfield, wins everything and works his butt off. it would be nice to see socastee bring back a region championship though
