I have seen both poorly refereed games and some great refs at work this year. The worst was so bad it was laughable, (and I did) but the team that seemed to bear the brunt of the insanity in this instance did more to cook their own goose than the ref. Cards for dissent are foolish. When you get an idiot just keep away and keep quiet. Respect the shirt even if the man doesn't deserve it and prove that you can win even if he's against you. Better yet, when you get a good ref thank them after the game, even if you lost. Your courtesy may encourage them to sign up for more games. Just my thoughts.
