Everyone (including me) is quick to jump in on a post about bad referees. How about some of the good ones? Who has done a great job this season? Are there refs you think deserve to be working playoff games in May? I've seen a few great jobs this year but I don't have names, so who are the GOOD guys?

Thats the sad thing, everyone can recite the names of the awful referees by heart but no one can come up with the names of the ones who do their job right. Next time you get a referee who calls the game well give them a handshake and a thank you.

Overall, I have been pleased with the quality of the refs I've seen this year. It's a pleasure to see these guys and gals. And yes, I make sure to go and shake the hands of the good refs and thank them for doing a good job.

I can't tell you the names of either good or bad refs, I know a couple by name, but I am not sure they want their names posted on here either. I think whether a ref is good or bad depends on your perspective. Most people aren't very objective when critiquing a ref. There is usually a bias one way or the other.

the best ref by far is the guy that says "lets rock and roll" at the kickoff. hopefully we get to have him in a intense game

We are pretty lucky in the lowcountry we have a three man system with pretty good referees most of the time.

There's this Irish (at least i think he is) guy from Hampton who has done some of our games and this other guy from bluffton who do a real good job 99% of the time. They always call a fair game no matter how much we complain on both sides of the field
