At the risk of taking this thread off on a tangent, so what if it is a D2 or D3 school? The vast majority of high school soccer players are not even going to make that. If he is good enough to play in college (at any level) then he is at least a pretty solid player. Many of the names that get thrown around on this board as one of the "best" players or soccer "GODS" will be lucky if they can play D2 college soccer, if college soccer is what they want to do. Few kids play D1, even if they are studs on their high school team or club team.
