Obey...Irmo also lost to South Aiken straight up. I agree Lexington is playing better at the time now. Irmo has lost a couple of games and that could hurt them because they are a very young team and might not be able to recover. I believe Lexington with take the region.

Lexington is the best team in the region from what I have seen. I highly doubt Lexington and South Aiken will go to pks next game. South Aiken did a good job forcing the tie, they were on the defensive most of the game, but Lexington's keeper is great. It's ununusal for Lexington's players to miss pks. White Knoll won't suprise South Aiken, Lexington, or Irmo now that they upset Irmo. I can see some of these region games to end in tie's because all three have trouble scoring, but I just don't see Lexington losing again in pks.

I have never thought that losing in PK's is losing "straight up"! either way I think that all 4 teams (WK,Lex,SA,Irmo) are all playing very good soccer. To me their is no clear strong team. I think anyone could grab this region! WK has surprised alot of people since they beat Irmo but now people know what they are capable of and wont be caught off guard. SA has a decent defense they showed that when they held Lex to Pk's but i dont think they can hold on forever! Irmo is getting all its starters back and is going to come out fired up to rebound after the lost to WK. Lex i think is the best all around team but they are not invincible and really need to get focused come together if they want to take the region! No matter how it finishes region 4 is going to be a intresting one to watch!

I agree that Irmo is young but I think they have a lot of good talent and they have great coaching. A win against Lexington can give them the confidence to finish strong and make some noise in the playoffs.

Lexington I think has overall the best talent pool in the division but continues to have difficulty finding the net under pressure. They get good movement and development, create opportunities and even take decent shots but come up short too often when playing against a tight defense. Perhaps the South Aiken loss will shake them out of it. If that loss causes them to find that last bit, then the Palmetto Cup will be interesting and the end of the year exciting for the Wildcats.

South Aiken has good speed and was able to counter dangerously against Lexington using it. They also have a solid defense and a goalie that they can rely on. If anyone lets their guard down even a little then SA is going to win the game, but I don’t see them beating Irmo or Lexington when one of them brings an ‘A’ game.

I agree White Knoll is improving but I don’t see them winning the region for a few more years. I don’t know about their coaching changes and how much that has helped but I think they can give a good game to anyone any night. They draw from a good club area so I think they will continue to improve as their side of town developes.

So my picks: Lexington wins on Friday and it ends up Lex, Irmo, SA and WK at season end.

SA only has to play Lex once more...The worst they can do is 8-2 (That's on paper...but they still have to play the games )

Irmo already has two losses and has 2 more Tough games to go.

who_me?, I still think you have Irmo and SA in the best positions to go to the playoffs...I would rather draw Rock Hill or Fort Mill in the First Round and then play Greenwood or Mauldin in the 2nd instead of catching NW in the 2nd.

i guess irmo is out of the race after their loss to Lex...looks like it will come down to Lex and SA...Any predictions?, Lexington plays SA in about two weeks at SA

White Knoll is in it too all three teams still have 1 loss all to each other so we will see ive said it before...
1) If lex cant finish they will struggle they have dominated teams and still either barley won or lost, if the start to find the back of the net they will be very dangerous
2) White Knoll is tough they surprised a lot of people but I don’t think they will survive much longer
3) SA is ok but I think their defense keeps them in games but I think they will also drop 1 or more games before the region is done

i dont think Lex will sweep Irmo, that game was much closer than 3-1, irmo could easily win in the rematch

hey obey where you at the lex - irmo game.... to me the game was not that close.... again i say lex has to learn to finish... (im not trying to take anything away from irmo) i actaully think they did a good job holding on... lex could have easily had 4 or 5 goals...
