Interestingly enough, if the home teams win all of these matches they will be alone in first place in their respective regions. For DF and Wren wins would make region titles nearly fait accompli. For DF this could mean a relatively easy road to hosting the Lower State Championship. There are too many potential land mines in Region 4 for either Lex or Irmo to feel very comfortable regardless of the result tonight. The Mauldin/Dorman clash will be another of the many titanic match-ups in Region 2, with the victor certainly putting themselves in an excellent position. However, with their win last night, Byrnes heads to spring break knowing that Spartanburg, Mauldin and Dorman all will be coming to the greater Duncan-Lyman-Wellford area for matches the week of April 16th. It could get interesting!
