Well, Hanna/Wren did not disappoint. Very intense game that ended in regulation tied 2-2. Hanna struck in the first overtime and Wren equaled in stoppage time of the second five minutes. PKs came down to the last Wren girl who got off a wonderful kick, but Kendall Maxwell guessed correctly and made a fantastic save.

What a game! Hannah and Caitlin both played wonderful. Caitlin collected her 100th and 101st career goals.

So, the results of BIG Friday are in and . . .

Dorman hops in the driver's seat of Region 2,
Lexington does likewise in Region 4,
Dutch Fork virtually locks up Region 5,
Hanna and Wren remain in a dogfight to the finish,

. . . while Byrnes lurks in the shadows waiting for the week of 4/16!

Wow...a 15-5 shot advantage by Mauldin and Dorman still wins. Great defense...

Have friend that has gone to both T.L. Hanna & Wren and he said both games were worth the price of admin. Even though
his daughter plays for Hanna the best player in the region and maybe the state is Hannah from Wren. He said hes watched alot of soccer but has never seen it when one player gets the ball everyone just holds their breath. When she scored her 1st goal in the second game he said she broke away from what looked like a triple team and crossed the field taking the defense with her then stopped turned right and fired a shot from about 25 yards out into the right upper 90 one of the best shots he has seen this year

So Hanna fans are also Hannah fans and there's more than one Coach R? It's a crazy world.

Coach -R doesn't know what he was talking about...she was septuple teamed and still got away! Triple teamed...pshhhh. That would do nothing.

Coach R: The way I tell the difference between you two is that there's a 60% chance when "COACH-R" is posting that the name of one player will come up.

I've often thought of doing an Adobe Flex application that would show word associations of posters on the message board. I've noted a rather pronounced tendency for certain posters, and certain names, to be associated with each other over and over again. However, I'm fairly certain that the interested audience for this would be limited to ... well, probably just me. If not, please send your check for $1 billion dollars to "Chico" and I'll begin work on the application right away!

P.S. The way you can tell it's "Chico" posting, by the way, is that there's a 100% chance I'll whine about organizations not growing youth soccer in South Carolina...or about the Lexington girls team abusing wide-eyed adorable puppies.
