First, Congratulations to Wilson for an undefeated season!!!

Second, What would Greenville's record be if they played the same teams that Wilson played? Where would they be ranked? My hats off to those that rank the teams, I'm glad all I have to do is talk about it - and I guess I don't HAVE to do that either.

Last, Good luck Jamie in the future! But with you, luck is a very small portiion of the equation.

If Greenville would have played that BS schedule they would have scored 500 goals and only allowed 1 goal!!

Greenville beat a lot of impressive teams (Wando, BE, Riverside, Eastside, Mauldin, etc) and their opponents had a +82 win-loss record. Wilson did not have the big name wins and their oppenents had a combined losing record. Nothing against Wilson, but they would be doing well to break even with Greenville's schedule. I wish them well and maybe they can make it Columbia to prove the doubters wrong. That's why they play the games!

Was that a serious post .... Wilson will see how good their team is when they actually play someone... second round of the playoffs will surely end their season.

Y'all are missing the point. What is each teams ultimate goal in the world of sport - to win every game they play. Consider yourself a player on the field, can you change the quality of the opponent? No. Your task is to take what you have been given and try to win the game. Some are easier than others, for various reasons. If you win the game should you be chastised because the quality of the opponent is not as good as someone elses opponent?

The team has done all they can do. Is Greenville a better team - I would say yes. But their record could only be one more win, instaed of a tie, better. That's it - no more! Yea, you could look at goal differential and say theirs would be better, but that's an artifical number - depending somewhat on the styles of the coaches involved. The point I was trying to make is that the people ranking the teams have a tough time figuring it out because the teams don't play each other.

Let me see if I can diffuse the trash talk, I don't have any affiliation with Wilson. The last thing they want is me as a mouth piece - I apologize for using their name - in fact I did not in my first post. I watched one of their games because I was scouting Darlington. They are in our part of SC and I have had mixed results when GSSM plays Wilson. For every other team in the state, any region, any division, that has an undefeated season. Well done! It don't get no better than that! Good luck to all in the playoffs!

The way I see it, is it doesn't matter what your strength of schedule is, if you are undefeated and are arguing for a higher seeding, then prove it in the playoffs. Each team has to play the same amount of games (usually) so it shouldn't matter. If you have the best team, then you have to beat every other team, no matter where you start.
