. . . neil is doing a gr8 job w/ team & i thought the girls looked more aggressive & physical & even confident & they're getting better with each game . . . we have 7 9 graders so well get better, wow did lex have a lot of seniors called out last night before the game, should mean we're gonna get a lot better & give you better games.

With all of the attention given to Region 2 (rightfully so with four teams in the top ten), I think a lot of girls' high school soccer fans forget about the depth we have in Region 4 AAAA. Remember that five teams (more than any other region) from Region 4 AAAA have been in the "scsoccer.com" top fifteen at one time or another this season. Unfortunately, one of those teams will be sitting at home for the playoffs.

I echo your comments about the coaching job being done by Neil Berment. The SA team I saw in Aiken three weeks ago was better than the one at Viking Cup. They were even better last night. When talking about young teams I have to also say that Hank Deer at North Augusta is doing a great job with a team made up mainly of 9th and 10th graders.

Lexington loses seven seniors that will be hard to replace. However, don't expect to see much of a dropoff (if any) in play from Lexington. Expect to see the other teams in Region 4 AAAA improve, and the games in this region to be very competitive. All of the teams from Region 4 AAAA that have been to Lexington this year have been young and very well coached.
