get out of here!! we had 3 subs for that tournament where we lost, we had players hurt, and no one in the right positions, if you think we would not beat them if we played them now, you are crazy. idc how weak our schedule was in our region, we destroyed everyteam we were suppose to, and beat others by mutiple goals taht we were suppose to. but we will see in the playoffs when we at least make it to upperstate.

Julius: If you know anything or have been to one of Dreher games you would realize that Byron is not the only decent player. They may not have much of a bench but you should actaully watch a game before you make a stupid comment like that.

we lost a lot of seniors, yet we still managed to go undefeated in region, whether anyone thinks it was a weak region or not, managed to beat socastee, whether anyone says it was a weak socastee team, but so was dreher when we lost to Camden military and darlington. and will have a strong pus to upperstate finals. our team is stacked this year with juniors, sophomores and freshman, but we are good,a nd will be really good next year also!

I am not so sure on Chapin beating Myrtle Beach so easly, I wouldnt be suprised to see All 3 beach teams going deep.
Interesting comment. I just traced the last three years of how 3A Midlands teams have done vs. 3A teams from the Grand Strand:
BROOKLAND-CAYCE (2-1-0) 2006, 6-1 W, @ Myrtle Beach - 3A 1st Round 2006, 2-1 W, vs. Socastee - Carolina Soccer Classic 2005, 1-2 L, NORTH MYRTLE BEACH - 3A 2nd Round
CHAPIN (2-1-0) 2007, 2-1 W, MYRTLE BEACH - Lake Murray Challenge 2006, 3-1 W, SOCASTEE - 3A 1st Round 2005, 1-5 L, @ Myrtle Beach - 3A 2nd Round
DREHER (3-2-0) 2007, 3-1 W, vs. Socastee - Lake Murray Challenge 2007, 3-7 L, vs. Myrtle Beach - Lake Murray Challenge 2006, 3-0 W, NORTH MYRTLE BEACH - 3A Quarterfinals 2005, 0-1 ot L, @ Myrtle Beach - 3A Quarterfinals 2005, 5-0 W, CAROLINA FOREST - 3A 2nd Round
A.C. FLORA (0-0-0) none
So, Myrtle Beach is 3-2; North Myrtle Beach 1-1; Carolina Forest 0-1; and Socastee 0-3.
The Lower State playoffs should be fun for all!
