Could someone from the area tell me of a restaurant that would be suitable for a healthy pre-game meal? Also, please leave out the usual bad humor W&E (i.e. "Waffle House," "Hardee's," etc). Thanks for your help. Directions &/or exit numbers would be nice too.

What are you looking for? Subway? A sitdown meal?

Hey, don't be dissin' the Waffle House. A bowl of Bert's Chili and a waffle have gotten me through many bike races and soccer games. And, you don't need to know what exit to find them at, they're everywhere.

Coach J
I assume you're traveling east on I-20 to Columbia, then north on I-77. There is a McAlister's Deli in Rock Hill, I-77N exit 79. At the exit turn left, go under the bridge, then left at the first light.
FMHS is then just up the road on I-77N at exit 85.
Of course, if you REALLY want to chow down, there's also Bob Evans, Cracker Barrel, Olive Garden, Ruby Tuesdays, etc...but I assume you want them eating healthier than that

Doin' it the hard way...

Howdy! Thank you everyone that pm-ed me (sounds kinda gross) & that posted here to help. My team will be eating at an undisclosed location. I really appreciate everyone's help! I love the Awful Waffle but don't want my players eating there before a match maybe afterwards.

Hope you got a chance to check out Manchester Meadows off Dave Lyle Blvd.
