Thus everyone knows the dreaded red machine called CESA because of results not billboards. Between fall and spring 06/07 season lexington has 4 state championships, 2(?) finalist to CUFC's 1 state champion and 3 finalists. Also note that there is no challenge level for u12 and below I believe I can honestly state that the U12 and u11 teams for both clubs would have played challenge if it was available. Two more candidates for Lex are playing next weekend we hope they will do well. Please note these are all classifications and to the best of my knowledge. U17 boys challenge champions U14 girls classic #2 (tied in round robin format) U11 girls classic champions U12 girls classic champions U11 boys classic finalist U10 boys recreation champions CUFC ( to the best of my knowledge U16 girls challenge champion (I think the right age group) U17 boys challenge finalist U13 boys classic finalist U11 girls classic finalist You will note that two of the championships were played against each other. Level of play is high in the Columbia area.

gamecock44 kick off G Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 33	Futbol I think you missed a couple more. The CUFC u14 girls were the runners up in the classic div ( lex 3rd). The u14 CUFC rec team were also state runners up. So I think once corrected it would have lex with 5 teams in state finals and CUFC with 6. Not sure how relevant anything below u13 is though as it is played in small team format. With many clubs evenly distributing player talent until the age group or league becomes 11v11. We also may be pushing it including rec teams being that the focus of such programs could hardly be further geared away from defining its succes by state championships.
