With the exception of the couple of private schools that play as public, playing for a private school in SCISA makes for a long road to travel trying to advance to play at the college level. This does not mean there are not talented players in SCISA, it's just the recognition (and exposure) is hard to come by - no Super 22 lists, no North-South games, less media coverage and very little support from SCISA itself. Several of the teams and a number of individuals can play with the best.
