Congratulations to MPSC U18 Elite for wrapping up the top spot in the Challenge League regular season yesterday with a 2-0 win over CUFC U18 Elite. Special kudos to the the true MVP's of the team - the back line, giving up only one goal on the season. Great job ladies, you are peaking at the right time for State Cup.
It's impressive that MPSC 89G Elite has only given up 1 goal all season in the challenge league. Will MPSC u18G Elite be the 2nd seed in the State Cup? Or will CESA 18 89G Challenge be the 2nd seed in State Cup by virtue of their participation in R3PL, even though they will finish somewhere between 3rd and 6th in challenge league play?
Either way MPSC will be seeded 2nd or 3rd at State Cup and won't have to face CESA 89G Premier until the finals (assuming they both advance that far). It would be a very challenging matchup for MPSC, considering CESA 89G Premier scored 5 goals in a win against GSA Phoenix Red this past weekend in R3PL.
The top two seeds go to the premier league teams. The only exception may be if the premier league team in question did not actually qualify (did not come in 1st or 2nd in last years state cup) for permier league but were allowed to participate. If the CESA 89G challange is playing both the premier league and challange league it is unlikely that they came in first or second in last years state cup.
How many of the MPSC U18 Girls play high school soccer for Wando? I'm assuming a good portion of them do which means another 4A state championship could be in order.
Kids play sports because they find it fun. Eliminate the fun and soon you eliminate the kid.
Less than half play for Wando. They come from all over, from Goose Creek, West Ashley, several private schools to Hilton Head. Even at that, expect Wando to be in the hunt once again.

I'm pretty sure CESA 89 Challenge finished 2nd in the U17 Challenge Cup last year.

Someone help me understand this please. Does this say "The only exception 'may be"," or "The only exception IS"
