I looking at the accepted teams and something caught my eye that I thought was interesting. The Mt Pleasant 94 girls and CUFC 95 girls went undefeated which is great. The interesting part is that there is three teams that finished below them that jump into the challenge league...Any thoughts or comments?

They now have been moved to Challenge....

2 of the challenge teams are young however both CESA 95 and LCSC 95 played MPSC tough last year

I wonder what happened to HH 94 from last year is it SAA now?

I was Curious about this also. Where did the Summerville team go? They finished second in Div. II (behind USA which moved to challenge), but don't appear in the Challenge or Classic division. Is HH 94 now SAA and are they a challenge team?

The CUFC 95 Elite team is still listed in the classic division as is the MPSC 95 Elite.

MPSC 95 did not play PMSL last season. I don't know what happen to the summerville teams. They are not even listing a U-14 team. Rumor has it that HH94 only had 8 players. Don't know if the players went to SAA. One or two are playing for the Bridge. Still would like to see CUFC 95 move up to challege. They went 7-0 last season in classic. With most to the teams moving up, there is no competition for them to play.

Actually CUFC 95 lost one game to CASA 94 Flame in the PMSL U13 Classic II division. It appears that they have moved up to the U13 PMSL Classic I division for the spring along with CASA 94 Flame.

here's a question. Can a team playing up (CUFC 95 Elite) also play in their age group league at the same time?

Since there is no SCYSA U12 league, there is very likely no reason why CUFC95 could not play U13 Classic and Snadlapper U12. However the point most teams/clubs make in playing up to U13 is competition but also 11v11. U12 Sandlapper is 8v8. Roster are limited to 18 for 11v11 and 14 for 8v8. if CUFC has 14 or less players they can do both.

As far as within SCYSA I believe ( not sure) that you can only play one age level in a season. It was my understanding that you nmust compete in the state championship of the age level of the state champioship season. Thus a U14 playing up in U15 in the fall must participate in the u15 state championship.
