LE, don't hate because your school website is in pink and falls short of any resemblence of soccer/athletic tradition. Seriously, pink?

Say what you will about L-E's soccer tradition (or lack thereof). But when you insult the color scheme for our website, you've gone too far!
PS - I would say L-E has a pretty solid athletic tradition, which would be relevant if this were www.scwrestling.com

Hey, no hostility here, just old rivals. We're entitled to a little smack talking. Some of the most intense matches were between BC/NA.

Ain't that the truth. It seems like those matches were always decided by 1 goal or by PKs. I'm not sure if it was intense as the club matches between NA and CMSA or NECSA, but it wasn't far off. It was always apparent that Kevin Heise's teams were well coached and skillful.

That was Hans Whetstone from BC that went on to USC. I think he used to play for CMSA. LOL, that's a trip about the Beaver and Mattie Fowler. I played w/ a lot of those guys from SA during club like Russ, Ross, and Ryan Reynolds, so I've always had a lot of respect for SA.
Interesting thread. Hans Whetstone is correct and he played from 1996-99 at USC. He was Carolina's recipient of the John M. Johnson Award in 1999, which recognizes the team's Most Valuable Player. He had a solid career for the Gamecocks and Bearcats.

Those were some great rivalries in the mid-1990s ... Lexington won the Region 3-4A title in 1993 ... B-C won the Region 3-4A Championship in 1994 and 1995 ... South Aiken won in 1996:
1993-96 Brookland-Cayce Results
vs. Aiken (7-1) 7-2 W, 2-1 W, 2-1 W, 4-0 W, 4-3 pk W, 6-1 W, 1-2 L, 3-0 W
vs. Lexington (4-3) 1-2 ot L, 1-0 ot W, 3-2 pk W, 1-2 ot L, 1-0 W, 4-1 W, 1-3 L
vs. North Augusta (4-3) 1-3 ot L, 3-2 ot W, 0-1 L, 2-1 W, 2-6 L, 1-0 pk W, 1-0 W
vs. South Aiken (6-2) 7-1 W, 5-0 W, 4-1 W, 0-1 L, 3-0 W, 1-0 W, 0-2 L, 1-0 W
