Seems to be a lot of hostility in this group. Of course, I probably would be too if they played Sinead O'Connor and 4 Non Blondes at my senior prom.

Ha,ha...there is some hostility here. But, Poston is right. To state that Kwon couldnt take over is just crazy. Maybe your thinking of somebody else CBess?

That 96 SA team was pretty good. Who was the fast kid up front W&E? Man he could run like a horse.

Poston did play at BC. He wasnt short though. It was him, and another kid that went to USCA. Both were pretty good.

Who's being hostile. Just a few random barbs being thrown b/t friends . . . How about another--NA didn't win the region that year but we did beat SA in the 2nd round in '96 on our way to the upper state championship game where we lost at Mauldin?

I went to college with Beavers (and matty <sp?>). We had many a laugh at that season and over who was better. Roseberry and I concluded that since our players were better looking, more successful in life, and our school wasn't ripping off Georgia Teach - edge to S.A.

Poston was short(er) when compared to the Scandanavians Navas bred at S.A. What else am I to go by?

LE, don't hate because your school website is in pink and falls short of any resemblence of soccer/athletic tradition. Seriously, pink?

Who was the guy from BC that went on to USC from that team? I remember him the most, but I never had much from him after committing to the coots. I swear, they all looked like little Kevin and Kyle clones.

That was Hans Whetstone from BC that went on to USC. I think he used to play for CMSA. LOL, that's a trip about the Beaver and Mattie Fowler. I played w/ a lot of those guys from SA during club like Russ, Ross, and Ryan Reynolds, so I've always had a lot of respect for SA.

Ditto. The NA game was always the bitter sweet match up. Heck, Aiken and BC were pretty close to it as well. The 96 class had the big NA ties with club and beavers dad coaching.

Playing Aiken was even worse b/c of Scott Bradford. I can't say that I ever enjoyed going head to head w/ him. I wonder what ever happened to him after he played at Lander?

Bradford was the Reggie Miller of our Region. The great villian of his time. I don't know what became of him, but I've heard rumors. None of which I'd put on here since they're unconfirmed.
