SC Soccer Forums SCSoccer.com Forums College, Pro & International Soccer Eddie Johnson

Eddie Johnson just signed for Fulham of the English Premier League on a 3 1/2 year deal from Kansas City.

Didn't Fulham make another offer for Cousin? Sky was on in the background, so I could be wrong (because I don't see it online), but I thought Rangers let him go for 3mil??

As for Johnson, this could make or break him (in the: if he is not successful he'll just come back to MLS sense and if he is successful he could be an impact player in one of the worlds top leagues)
It will be very interesting to see how Dempsey and Johnson interact on the field and if they can boost each other up - perhaps get US attackers a little more street cred.

I really hope this works out for him, I have seen him play like a star and seen him play like a JV player. Hopefully he leaves the JV behind in the US and does well.

I think Fulham now has our two most 'creative' players. I hope that really helps our national team.
