I think SmallSodaMan is referencing a certain discretionary actions of one of the SV players.
The second point is referring to that BC beat SV at the Soccer Plex and SV had their �big guns� at that game. And it is tradition for the BC soccer team to go to Vellas (a small restaurant) after a big win.

He played JV last year and was moved up for playoffs. He is a quality player with a lot of potential if he keeps his head on straight. He plays in the midfield I believe.
