The pervasive theme from many in the low country, and this is going to be a hard part for any change in the area, is it's all about the individual teams. Many people think the club is an organizational umbrella that exists to allow each "team" to operate independently, without a common club approach.

I don't think this is about Bridge not being the best option for the top players in the lowcountry, but rather about what's in the best interest of supporting the programs and players at SSC.

The BFA concept is still a good one, that in my opinion, has lacked the proper leadership, goals and organizational structure to reach it's potential.
