The 2025 SCHSSCA Winter Clinic January 17th was a great success, and the event was enjoyed by all in attendance.

The SCHSL Rules Meeting featured soccer liaison Charlie Wentzky conducted this annual session and the SCHSSCA expresses its' sincere gratitude to him for making this available for our membership at the Winter Clinic. The Friday SCHSSCA Business Meeting was hosted by Kevin Heise, Associate State Chairman and Winter Clinic Director, and provided a wealth of information for new and veteran members. Tommy Bell - SCHSL THOUGHTS
This year the scare was more organized. Look at NC ... NC took over the state legislature, dissolve the HSL. Immediately hire back the HSL that will then have a Board above them made up of politicians. Opens the door for 'others' to get involved. Could open the door to a 'crazy' person getting involved. The NC Executive Board has delegated power to these designees which could be anybody -- angry moms/dads. We have to shut up our younger social media savvy coaches that perpetuate these problems. Twitter - "DOBETTERSCHSL" ... The SCHSL tries to be a neutral party to 200+ special interest groups (schools). We as leadership of our sports groups have to be more cognizant about how we allow our.
