TL Hanna 3:2 Boiling Springs (4-2pks)
Boiling springs shoved a goal down our throats in the first minutes and I thought it was going to be ugly. I was proud of our new JV coach's adjustments and the teams played even from there. We decided that PKs would be a good experience for both of these young teams and it was. I have to admit that I am glad that our girls won because I don't think they would have spoken to me for a while for making that decision!
Very good gut-check moment!

Number 7 on Hanna is a special player. Team match up favored Boiling Springs. Should have man marked 7 out of the game.

Thanks for mentioning Paige Miller the seventh grader from Hanna (or really McCants Middle School). She is of very good bloodline as she is the third of four Miller sisters that belong to Anderson University's mens soccer coach Rob Miller. Her oldests sister starts at forward for the varsity team and sister Kylie is also on the JV.

I figured I was too brief. Dorman scored early in the game to take a 1-0 lead. Clover answered with 2 goals later in the first half, which ended 2-1. Dorman scored a goal with about 30 seconds left in the game, I thought that was significant. At least it felt that way, while watching the game.
