The 2014 North-South Soccer Classic, sponsored by SC United FC and the SCHSSCA, will be played Saturday, June 28 at Blackbaud Stadium on Daniel Island, SC. The Charleston Battery will host the Richmond Kickers as part of Friday night's activities.

This will be the 26th consecutive year that the boys' senior all-star game will be held and the 18th year for the girls match. The matches feature some of the top seniors from across the Palmetto State.

The North-South Soccer Classic Selection Meeting will be held April 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Brookland-Cayce High School.

This will be the official thread for all North-South Soccer Classic announcements and news.

All North-South Soccer Classic players should submit a completed SCHSL Physical (on file in your athletic department) to Coach Kevin Heise by Friday, May 9. You may submit via the following manners:

Schedule of Events

Thursday, June 26

5:00 pm – North/South Coaches’ meeting at the Hampton Inn on Daniels Island

6:00 pm – Dinner

Friday, June 27

12:00 pm – Coaches and N/S workers report to Bishop England HS Stadium

1:00 pm – Players check in at Bishop England Stadium

1:45 pm – Team Pictures in Bishop England Stadium

2:30 pm – Introductions, agenda, and rules for players

2:45 pm – 4:45 pm – Team meeting and training at BE

4:45 pm – Bus will pick up players to take them to the Hampton Inn for check in.

6:30 pm – All players and coaches report downstairs to ride the bus to Blackbaud Stadium for the Charleston Battery game.

6:45 pm – The players and coaches will be eating dinner under a tent in Blackbaud stadium. At halftime, the players and coaches will be recognized on the field and then head to their seats.

9:00 pm – The players and coaches will ride the bus back to the hotel after the game

11:00 pm – Lights out and bed check

Saturday, June 28

Girls’ Schedule

8:00 am – Wake up call for North/South girls’ players

8:45 am – Girls report downstairs to check out of hotel and ride the bus to Blackbaud stadium

9:00 am - North/South Girls Recognition Breakfast at the Three Lions Pub

10:10 am – Girls head downstairs to the stadium for team meetings

11:00 am – Warm – up

12:00 pm – North/South Girls’ Match

Boys’ Schedule

9:00 am – Wake up call for North/South boys’ players

10:00 am – Boys report downstairs to check out and ride the bus to stadium

10:15 am – North/South Boys Recognition Breakfast at Three Lions Pub

11:15 am – Boys head downstairs to the stadium for team meetings and to watch the North/South girls’ match
