On behalf of the S.C. High School Soccer Coaches Association, I'd like to issue a heartfelt 'thank you' to Wayne Quinlan for his efforts in serving as the S.C. Director of the Clash of the Carolinas the past eight years!

Coach Quinlan has overseen this all-star game - the nation's only interstate event of its' kind - since its' infancy in 2007 to the solid status on the prep calendar that it enjoys today! The game has evolved into a true 'event' and one that is envied across the country.

Many thanks for all of your tireless and unselfish contributions to our game over the years!

Super job by Wayne with the Clash of the Carolinas. As stated above, the event has become a fixture on the prep sports calendar as a lot of hard work, organization, and dedication has been provided by Coach Quinlan the past eight years. Thanks to all who have devoted their time and efforts into the Clash!

Many thanks! It has been my privilege to serve SCHSSCA. Not to be understated is the benefit of being supported by those who surrounded me during my tenure, without whom none of this would have been achieved. The age-old 80/20 Rule of Leadership states that 80% of the significant work is done by 20% of the members of any organization. The other 80% of the members, well, we are fortunate if they show-up. As a note to the SCHSSCA membership; the 20% that are doing most of the work are aging. In fact, four of those most helpful are currently retired. I will join those ranks soon. Who will step in and serve their association?
