Dear High School State Association Members and High School Coaches,
On behalf of the High School Community within United Soccer Coaches, we would like to extend a warm invitation to all high school soccer stakeholders who will be attending the upcoming United Soccer Coaches Convention in Philadelphia from Jan 14-Jan 17 2026. We are truly excited for the opportunity to meet, engage with, and learn from the many coaches and leaders who continue to support and strengthen high school soccer across the country.
The Convention provides an important space for collaboration, shared learning, and open dialogue. With that in mind, we would like to bring together high school coaches, State Association leaders, and stakeholders to engage in meaningful conversations centered on the current landscape and future direction of high school soccer.
Our discussion will be guided by the following agenda items:
How can we better support our State Membership Associations?
How are State Associations and leaders connecting with and supporting high school coaches?
What impact are we seeing—and how are we navigating—MLS NEXT relationships on the boys’ side, along with the increasing number of ECNL and GA clubs asking girls not to participate in high school soccer?
Open items – providing space for additional topics, questions, and shared experiences from those in attendance.
