The Home Depot North-South Soccer Classic will be held June 7, 2003 at Mount Pleasant's Wando High School.

Rosters for the North-South teams can be found at the provided link.

Participants of this prestigious event will report on the morning of June 5 at Wando HS and will stay at the Sleep Inn on Wingo Way in Mount Pleasant.

Who is going to win? Who are the top players? Any insight is appreciated!

I don't know, probably the North for boys and South for girls. Why don't SCISA kids get to play in this event?

Talon - Only S.C. High School League member schools are allowed to participate in the Home Depot North-South Soccer Classic.

I hope that in the future the SCISA schools will offer a similar event for their players! There is certainly some great talent in SCISA and they should have the opportunity to cap off their prep soccer careers in a quality event/environment.

Taylor Rowe didn’t waste much time making an impact in the North/South Soccer Classic in Mount Pleasant Saturday.

Rowe, a recent graduate of D.W. Daniel, scored the North’s first goal in its 5-1 win when he took a corner kick from Lexington’s Sean Maupin and headed it into the net in the 31st minute.

Rowe, who also added an assist — had several friends in attendance, including former Daniel coach Tommy Bolger — and said he wanted to put on a show.

"It was a great time," Rowe said. "Tommy came down to see me. I wanted to impress them. Since they came down to see me, I wanted to give them a little something."

Rowe wasn’t the only area player to shine in the game. Seneca’s Moyo Suarez added two second-half goals for the North.
